Light rain on Monday morning caused traffic disruptions across Karachi, leading local authorities to issue safety warnings for commuters.

The Karachi Traffic Police advised drivers to reduce speed on slippery roads and avoid sudden braking. Motorcyclists were instructed to use the left side of the road for safer travel.
By 11 AM, traffic flow had resumed in several areas, including Teen Hatti to Gurumandar, Chowrangi No.1 to Lasbela, and along Sharea Faisal and Rashid Minhas Road.
In North Nazimabad, rainwater submerged two lanes near Five Star Chowrangi, forcing traffic onto a single lane and service road. This resulted in slow-moving vehicles in the area.
Bagh-e-Korangi road between Singer Chowrangi and Shah Faisal Colony saw traffic restoration, while the stretch between Fawara Chowk and Thana Street remained closed. Authorities implemented detours via Zainab Market and Deen Muhammad Wafai Road.
Road depressions caused by Karachi Sewage and Water Board (KWSB) work near Hasan Square prompted officials to divert traffic to University Road via Hasan Bridge.
In Gulistan-e-Johar, sewage overflow near Rado Bakery led to the implementation of a one-way system from Awami Colony to the bakery.
The Karachi Traffic Police continue to monitor the situation and update commuters on traffic conditions via social media.
